The general best practice and guidelines for a healthier experience.
- Hydrate a lot before, between and after sessions. Water is the best.
- Wait till sauna is preheated properly if the traditional sauna
- In traditional sauna pour water over stones to add humidity to the air
- In traditional sauna add essential oils to water for aromatherapy
- Shower between and after sessions to clean your body from the sweat and toxins
- If Infrared Sauna make sure to position yourself in the correct position to the emitters for optimal ray exposure
- Wear very little or best no clothing when Sauna bathing
DONT'S
The most common mistakes & misconceptions to avoid.
- No drugs and alcohol while sauna bathing
- Don’t keep staying in the sauna if you get dizzy or not feeling well
- Don’t pour anything else than water or safe to use aroma mixes on the stones in traditional Sauna
- Don’t keep young kids in a sauna too long
- Don’t wear jewelry and glasses
- Don’t touch any heating elements or stones
- Don’t take any electronics into the Sauna
